All-On-4 Implant Dentures in Pleasant View and Ogden, UT
All-on-4 Implant Supported Dentures in Pleasant View, UTAll-on-4™ dental implants in Ogden, UT are a great solution for patients with a limited amount of available bone mass. This type of dental implant uses a strategic placement method and positioning to make the most out of existing bone mass. If you have experienced bone loss due to gum disease or because of dental prosthetics, Dr. Willard W. Maughan can help. All-on-4™ dental implants may be the perfect solution.

How the All-on-4™ Technique Works

This type of dental implant technique uses four strategically placed implants and positions them in a manner that is able to maximize the use of use of available bone. The All-on-4™ method does not require bone grafting in order become functional. In fact, as soon as the implants have been placed in the proper locations, they become immediately functional.

Just as the name suggests, All-on-4™ requires only four dental implants. Two of these implants are placed in the front of the mouth at a 90 degree angle. Two additional implants are placed in the back of the mouth at a forty five degree angle. In this way, neither the downward nor upward force of the bite will be able to loosen this type of dental implant.

Once all four implants have been placed in their strategically planned locations, a temporary denture will be secured in place. Although this is only a temporary device, it will provide complete function. After a three to six month healing period, you will receive a new denture that will be anchored in place permanently.

Benefits of the All-on-4™ Method

This type of dental implant has many benefits for patients. Some of these include:

• Immediate loading of temporary denture
• Compatibility with low bone density
• Easy Maintenance
• Prevention of further bone loss
• Increased stability over removable dentures
